We are pleased to announce that plans are well under way for the 14th annual Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival to be held in March of 2010. Whether you are an individual or a business, your support will facilitate the presentation of an extraordinary collection of entertaining and thought-provoking films that constitute an important cultural event for the greater Tampa Bay area.

In a recent edition of Tampa Bay's Maddux Business Report (July/August 2009), our film festival is listed among a select number of prominent Tampa Bay area cultural organizations and events that "are an important component of economic development and tourism...[and] have a role in downtown rejuvenation”. The festival is proudly produced by the Tampa Jewish Community Center and the Suncoast Jewish Community Center, each a 501(c) 3 non-profit agency.

The Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival:

• Founded in 1995, the festival has quickly grown in size and reputation, welcoming moviegoers from across the greater Tampa Bay area.
• As attendance increases from year to year, the festival attracts not only a larger audience, but also a more diverse one, reaching an increasingly multi-cultural and multi-generational (and especially younger) demographic.
• The festival seeks to use the power of film to entertain, educate, and challenge conventional perspectives on complex issues facing the Jewish people and global community alike.
• Selected screenings are enhanced by providing a dynamic forum for audience dialogue with distinguished actors, producers, writers and other expert panelists.
• The festival is proudly produced by the three 501 (c) 3 non-profit organizations: The Tampa Jewish Community Center, and the Suncoast Jewish Community Center.
